Financial Planning
Step 1: Getting To Know Each Other
- Our first meeting is to gain an understanding of your needs, objectives, and concerns about retirement.
Step 2: Building Your Financial Plan
- Our second meeting will focus on building your financial strategy, which includes: income planning, advance tax planning, investment and risk management strategies, legacy planning, and more.
Step 3: Ongoing & Proactive Management
- As life changes, so should your plans. We will meet on a regular basis and re-evaluate your financial plan, make adjustments as necessary, and always ensure that you are on target to achieve your objectives.
Step 4: Legacy Planning
-
Through our partnerships with attorneys, accountants, and estate planners, we can help you with the safe transfer of your assets to create your legacy. Whether that’s in the form of charitable giving, inheritance, or trusts, we’ll help you leave the legacy you desire.
Risk Managed Investing
We do not feel that a buy and hold approach offers a retiree a stable environment and an active money manager is necessary to navigate the risk present in the market today.
Retirement Income Planning
During your working years your household expenses were supported by your working income. When you retire, your working income goes away and is replaced, primarily, by Social Security. The shortfall of covering your expenses each month is your income gap. We assist clients in achieving peace of mind by minimizing this gap and reducing their risk exposure to the stock market.
As part of the Asset Preservation Solutions Process, we’ll help you create a retirement income plan that balances:
- Monthly Living Expenses
- Budgeting for Luxuries & Quality of Life
- Planning your Social Security Benefits for Maximum Results
- Factoring in Pension Withdrawal Strategies
- Factoring in both Expected & Unexpected Medical Expenses
Annuities and Retirement
At Asset Preservation Solutions, we believe that the key to security and peace of mind in retirement is to create a predictable stream of income throughout your retirement from which you can guarantee your basic standard of living.
We believe that one of the greatest retirement tools available is the Fixed Indexed Annuity (FIA). Creating a Fixed Indexed Annuity contract that is tailored specifically to your needs is essential, and that is where we come in.
Business Owners
If you are an employer, you face many challenges today… with the rising cost of healthcare, payroll taxes, 401k benefits, and compliance (just to name a few), the challenges keep growing.
Asset Preservation Solutions and our strategic partners can help you reduce your costs in many areas that will increase your cash flow. We can address areas of your business that will be most effective in providing solutions to your company’s bottom line.
Estate Planning
Estate Planning is an often overlooked aspect of financial planning. Proper planning can leave your family with a secure and financially worry-free future. If properly structured, you can leave a family legacy that will last for generations. However, be aware that, without proper planning, the IRS will take their share of your estate, and your assets can be held up in probate for years.
At Asset Preservation Solutions, you will work with a team of specialists who will help you prepare and execute an estate plan that is right for you and your beneficiaries.

Retirement & Inflation Guide
What To Know And How To Prepare
In 2023, we saw a continuation of market turbulence, loosening of labor markets, and lighter inflation due to economic tightening from the Federal Reserve. Compared to a couple of years ago, you may have noticed higher prices on the items you buy every week and may be wondering if we’ll continue to see high inflation. Nobody can predict the future, so if you’re nearing or in retirement, you should aim to protect yourself from the eroding effects of inflation.
The Bucket Strategy Guide
How It Works & What It Means for Your Retirement
A retirement strategy is all about affording the lifestyle you want in your later years. For most of your life, you worked hard to save for your retirement as best you could. But now, it’s about turning those savings into an actionable plan that affords you the lifestyle you planned for as safely and efficiently as possible. You’re likely faced with these questions: What do you want your retirement to look like, and how much income do you need each year to make it happen?
The True Cost of Hidden 401(k) Fees
How Much Can Hidden Retirement Account Fees Cost You?
Do you know how much you’re paying in fees for your retirement account? Were you aware that fees are commonly charged on retirement accounts in the first place? If you have access to an employer-sponsored retirement account such as a 401(k), information about your account might be harder to access given that it’s offered through your employer and often isn’t completely in your control.
